Keystone Admission Requirements for Grades K–12
  • Students Enrolling in All Grade Level Programs

All students seeking to enroll in Keystone's programs must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the English language. Any student of compulsory age must comply with homeschool requirements dictated by their school district and state. Families are required to check the requirements within their district and state to ensure the Keystone programs meet state requirements.* To make sure we have accurate student information on file, we do require all full-time and diploma-seeking Keystone students to submit proof of age documentation. Acceptable documents include birth certificate, passport, or valid driver’s license/state issued ID. Please send it in to: registrar@keystonehighschool.com.

  • Students Enrolling in Keystone's High School Program

Prospective high school students must be able to provide proof of completing the eighth grade. For students who cannot produce documentation for academic admissions to the ninth grade (e.g. prior homeschool students), the following guidelines apply.

If a student is 14 years or older, the student is considered "age appropriate" for ninth grade and may enroll in Keystone's Online High School Program using a birth certificate or other official documentation as proof age.

If a student is under 14, the student must show proof of high-school readiness through one of the following methods:

    • A middle school grade report or transcript
    • A certificate of eighth grade completion
    • Standardized test scores showing eighth grade achievement or higher (Keystone recommends The IOWA Assessments)
    • A homeschool portfolio

Students and their families can speak with a counselor to address other circumstances.
