Students read selections from British and world literature in a loosely organized chronological framework. They analyze the themes, styles, and structures of these texts, and make thematic connections among diverse authors, periods, and settings. Students complete guided and independent writing assignments that refine their analytical skills. Students also practice test-taking skills for standardized assessments in critical reading and writing. Diagnostic tests assess students’ current knowledge and generate individualized study plans, so students can focus on topics that need review.Pre requisite- American Literature (or equivalent)
