Unlock the Science Behind Human Behavior.

In this rigorous, college-level course, students dive into the fascinating world of psychology, exploring how and why people think, feel, and act the way they do. AP Psychology offers a comprehensive overview of current psychological research, theories, and practices, giving students a strong foundation in both classic and contemporary approaches to human behavior.

Students investigate key topics such as brain function, sensory processes, learning, development, emotion, aggression, altruism, and self-reflection. They also explore therapeutic methods used by counselors and clinical psychologists. Along the way, students develop valuable skills in information gathering, analysis, and synthesis—essential tools for academic success and future careers.

Designed to match the rigor of a first-year college psychology course, AP Psychology prepares students not only for success on the AP Exam but also for advanced studies in psychology, life sciences, and related fields. Students will also pick up effective study strategies and techniques for long-term information retention, supporting their success across all subjects.
