Why Keystone: College Acceptance
Preparing for College Success
Keystone graduates have been accepted at more than 170 colleges and universities, including prestigious institutions like Dartmouth, Duke, New York University, Notre Dame, Rice, Stanford, Yale, and West Point. Through our rigorous coursework and emphasis on independent study skills, Keystone graduates are uniquely qualified to thrive in a college environment. Our graduates have demonstrated a high level of success in college, with over 80% returning for their second year of college (as reported by the National Student Clearinghouse).
View a list of schools by name or by state that Keystone students have gone to. If the school you are considering is on this list, please call the school’s admissions office to find out if they accept Keystone credit.
As soon as your child enters the Keystone high school program, a certified Guidance Counselor steps in to help your child through the college admissions process. The counselor will help your child prepare for the SAT and ACT exams and will guide your child through the college application and admissions process, in addition to helping your child build a personalized higher-education and career plan.
We work closely with our students to keep them on the path to college acceptance by offering the following:
-
Top notch college-preparatory curriculum, including college prerequisite courses, Advanced Placement® courses, honors courses, and language studies.
-
Extracurricular opportunities to give Keystone students a competitive edge, such as the Keystone Connection Student Newspaper, the Keystone Student Association, the Photography Club, among others.
-
Experienced staff and resources to help students prepare for the college selection and application process.
-
Transcripts and letters of recommendations from Keystone teachers and administrative staff sent to colleges and university. Download and complete our college document request form.
