Connecting students across the country and around the world.
Keystone offers a variety of opportunities for middle school students to join the thriving Keystone learning community and connect with one another - all within the confines our secure online environment:
Cultural Experiences Seminars - Student and teacher guest speakers share cultural experiences and insights from their hometowns or travels in a live seminar series that will run through the Fall of 2009. All students are invited to come and ask questions, listen and share their own experiences.
Keystone Middle School Newsletter - Starting this fall, Keystone Middle School students will have their own online newsletter showcasing student work. The newsletter will be named through a student contest - a great opportunity for students to use their creativity.
Social Hour - Mad libs or hangman anybody? Every two weeks, Keystone Middle School students will get together virtually during Social Hour. Social Hours are hosted by a Keystone Middle School faculty member in Elluminate, a secure online meeting room.
Discussion Boards - Expressing points of views and relaying information in writing are important parts of a Keystone education. Keystone Middle School's discussion boards are a moderated forum where students can share thoughts and ideas about course work, hobbies and topics that interest them with other Keystone students through threaded discussions.
